A practical starting point

  1. Choose one job your project should help someone do.
  2. Try a small set of example inputs before building the whole interface.
  3. Connect the model to one useful workflow.
  4. Test typical cases, confusing inputs, and a failure case.
  5. Show the result and explain its limits.

Choose your own tools

You can use hosted APIs, local models, open-source libraries, or your own training pipeline. No particular tool is required. Check licenses, costs, data handling, and usage limits before choosing a service.

Keep a build log

Record your prompts or model configuration, data sources, important design choices, and test results. These notes make your submission easier to understand and reproduce.

Before you submit

Verify that demo links work, screenshots show the actual prototype, credits are complete, and secrets have been removed. Include a fallback video or walkthrough if your live demo depends on a limited service.
